Bletchley-based Axe & Status Machinery, a specialist supplier of machining and fabrication equipment has announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Accurl, a Chinese manufacturer of press brakes, fibre laser cutters, punch presses and shearing machines.

Following an in-depth visit to Accurl's facilities in China, Axe & Status owner Steve Thomas and his team were impressed by the capabilities and quality of Accurl's products.

After days of extensive discussions, an agreement was reached. The partnership marks a significant milestone for both organisations, as they set their sights on capturing the rapidly growing laser market together.

“We are thrilled to announce the recent collaboration between Axe & Status Machinery and Accurl, forging a powerful partnership that holds immense promise for the laser market,” Steve Thomas enthused.

“Accurl is an ambitious company with strong growth plans. Currently, they are in the process of building a new mega factory which will be complete in December 2024. Their machines are of the highest quality and are very competitively priced.

“Eventually we’ll be selling their entire product range but initially the focus will be on laser cutting machines and press brakes. The plan is to exhibit a number of Accurl machines at MACH next April.

“The agreement is effective immediately – in fact we already have a customer who has placed an order for two laser machines due for delivery in September,” he added. “We aim to carry stock in our showroom in Bletchley.”

“Working with Accurl, I’m convinced we can strengthen our market leading position and open up new avenues for growth and expansion. We were very impressed with their facility, knowledge and expertise – but equally as important, they’re just very nice people to work with. We’re looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”

For Accurl, the partnership with Axe & Status provides an ideal gateway to the UK market. Leveraging the established network and expertise of its new partner, Accurl can reach a wider customer base and showcase its cutting-edge products to businesses seeking advanced laser solutions. This collaboration aligns with Accurl's mission to expand its global footprint and provide innovative machinery solutions to customers worldwide.
