Encoders UK – for more than 20 years an approved sales and service distributor for Heidenhain (GB), a leading supplier of angular, linear and rotary encoders, digital readouts and CNC systems – has invested in a new service workshop at its Sutton Coldfield site in the Midlands.

Featuring the latest test equipment, in particular the Heidenhain PWM20 software driven system for EnDat scale re-programming and repairs, the new facility provides the company with a servicing centre able to accommodate all types of Heidenhain encoders: sealed and exposed linear; rotary; angle and magnetic modular encoders, as well as length gauges.

According to Encoders UK managing director, Mike Perkins: “Our purpose-designed service workshop also features bespoke workbenches, modern anti-static flooring and the latest recirculating air conditioning system. Together, these facilities represent 21st century servicing standards.”

Encoders UK's expertise in supplying, retrofitting and servicing Heidenhain's cost-effective solutions for a comprehensive range of applications has extended the business into all industry sectors both at home and abroad.
