Aftersales appointment

Mills CNC has appointed Kevin Gilbert as its new customer support manager.

Mr Gilbert will have overall control of the post-machine tool sales activities at Mills CNC.

As Mills' managing director, Nick Frampton explained, the position of customer support manager is a newly created position: “We are very conscious of the need to continue to invest in aftersales support to keep up with the growth of our machine tool sales and our increase in market share. Kevin's goal is simple – to deliver to our customers the best service support in the industry.”

Mr Gilbert's previous experience makes him ideally suited to the role – ensuring that Mills' aftersales service resource is directed and targeted at delivering real benefits for customers. He previously ran his own subcontract service business, worked for a large multi-national services support company and has extensive knowledge and experience of working in the machine tool industry. Mills CNC has an extensive after-sales service operation with a 55 strong team delivering over 450 machines a year.
