All heart

With over 1,250 people visiting its stand at MACH, WNT (UK) is reporting a very successful show.

Managing director, Tony Pennington confirmed that around 20% of the enquiries look very positive with a strong possibility of developing into firm orders.

“We had the largest stand of any of the major tooling companies at MACH 2010, and we're delighted with the response,” he announced. “I guess most exhibitors were a little nervous ahead of the show but we had a steady stream of visitors to our stand throughout the week, from Tuesday through to Friday.”

What proved to be a worthwhile event for WNT (UK) also proved successful for The British Heart Foundation, with WNT raising over £1,408 during the exhibition through its draw, with the prize of a mountain bike going to Paul Dunn, plant manager at West Pharmaceutical Services, Bodmin.

“MACH 2010 proved to be a powerful draw as we emerge from recession and has provided us with many opportunities to increase our market share,” Mr Pennington concluded. “The new and existing products, along with our technical support capabilities are proving to be a combination that is attractive to many UK manufacturing companies.”
