Alloy Wire International (AWI) is stepping up its expansion in the Far East by exhibiting at Wire China for the first time.

UK and Chinese technical experts will be in Hall W1 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 26-29 September to talk through the company’s range of high performance alloys, which are all DFARS and EU compliant and can be supplied in quantities from 3 metres to 3 tonnes.

They will also be promoting the firm’s ability to deliver within three weeks of the order being placed, thanks mainly to an impressive stockholding of 200 tonnes of material and bespoke manufacturing lines at its two factories in Brierley Hill and Yorkshire.

“The Far East is a massive growth area for our business, with more Chinese manufacturers looking to improve the quality of their products, which naturally starts with the material,” explained Tom Mander, sales executive at Alloy Wire International.

“We manufacture to the highest possible quality standards on all of our round, flat and shaped wire and now have more than 60 different alloys available at any one time.”

He continued: “When you combine this with our delivery performance, it’s not hard to see why an increasing number of customers are using us. These range from automotive and aerospace suppliers to spring makers and specialists in oil and gas.”

Alloy Wire International makes round, flat and shaped wire in a range of material that is growing by the month, with more than 60 currently available to choose from.

Investment in pursuing new business in the Far East is paying off, with orders in Japan up 1000% on this time last year and website traffic up to 1200 visits per month – compared to an average of 90 during 2017.

AWI will be in Hall W1, Stand G32 at Wire China.
