Arlington Automotive, the Coventry-based manufacturer, is being recognised for its people. Their apprentice, 23 year-old Martin Clutterbuck from Durham, has won the regional heat of the 2016 EEF Future Manufacturing First Year Apprentice Award, which is sponsored by Siemens.

Mr Clutterbuck was crowned at a ceremony held at the Pavilions of Harrogate in November 2016 and will now go on to compete for the national title, against other regional winners from across the UK, at an awards gala dinner in London early next year. As a business, Arlington continuously invests in CSR, and this award showcases their use of apprenticeships.

Mark Franckel, Arlington Industries Group CEO, said: "This EEF award is testament to Martin’s hard work within the company and signals a bright future for him at Arlington and in manufacturing as a whole. Naturally, we’re delighted with his success and hope to see him lift the national award next year.”
