Manufacturer of all-electric tube bending machinery, Unison, has announced a new series of tours that will demonstrate how manufacturers can reap productivity benefits from the precision and flexibility of servo motor controlled tube bending technology. Three tours are scheduled for April, July and October 2011.
The informative tours are aimed at manufacturers with experience of traditional hydraulically powered tube bending equipment. Each event will include visits to at least two sites operating all-electric tube bending machinery, plus a tube bending workshop at Unison's facility.
"All-electric, servo motor controlled bending offers a range of advantages compared with traditional hydraulically powered machinery, including very fast and repeatable set-up that can virtually eliminate scrap, precise and flexible control over the complete bending cycle, and energy savings," said Unison's Alan Pickering.
