Rapid News Communications Group has reported that 2010 proved to be yet another successful year for the TCT Live and MM Live UK events.

Held in October at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, TCT Live and its co-located show MM Live are dedicated to the markets of rapid product development and additive manufacturing and micro manufacturing. The combined event provides a vital platform to share products and knowledge within the UK manufacturing community.

More than 3,600 attendees visited the two shows which is an increase on 2009 – however it was the quality of the visitors that really stood out with exhibitors reporting significant leads during the course of the two days.

Ulf Lindhe, business development manager at Netfabb commented: “TCT Live is an intense event that allows us to meet and network with key industry people and users alike.” Aaron Johnson from custom micro moulder, Accumold, concurred: “MM Live UK 2010 was a fantastic gathering of micro manufacturers and attendees interested in our technology. We had an excellent couple of days and some outstanding interest.”

The combination of first class suppliers on the show floor and free of charge conference sessions proved a winning formula for visitors and the stage is set for further growth in 2011.

Duncan Wood, managing director of the events division at Rapid News observed: “Once again we have delivered a successful show in a testing environment. While many industrial shows are having to regroup, postpone or cancel, our strategy enables us to continue moving forward in a positive direction.

“2011 will be a landmark year as these shows have now outgrown the Ricoh Arena, therefore we have taken the decision to re-locate them to the NEC to run alongside our other event Interplas 2011. The co-location benefits are obvious and along with this we will bring our trademark customer focus to bear on what will be the largest group of UK manufacturing shows for some years.”

TCT Live 2011, MM Live UK 2011 and Interplas will run from 27-29 September 2011.
