Bowers Group to demonstrate Industry 4.0 in action at Control exhibition

At the Control exhibition, taking place in Stuttgart, Germany from 24-27 April, Bowers Group will be showing a variety of products on stand 7105 including the new Baty Venture XT Vision system with version 4 Fusion Software, the brand-new range of Bowers universal gauge sets and setting devices, and many products demonstrating Industry 4.0 in action.

Bowers Group sales director Stuart Millington said: “As an important date in the Bowers Group calendar, we are very much looking forward to presenting our new and existing products at Control. The exhibition is a great opportunity to demonstrate how our products facilitate Industry 4.0 with state-of-the-art software and data transfer capabilities.”

On stand will be the newly designed Baty vision system, the Venture XT. As part of the Bowers Group, the system includes major advances in both capability and software for both contact and non-contact measurement. The enhancements include a major redesign of the software, providing users with a self-calibrating zoom lens with field of view error correction, and improved auto-focus which can now find and measure from a distance in one move.

Visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about this sophisticated vision system, including the extensive software improvements and its benefits; from the dramatic reduction in program execution times, to effective data transfer for easy generation of reports and certificates.

After a successful show last year, visitors will once again have the chance to see the extensive selection of bespoke equipment aimed at special measurement challenges. Specials designed and developed by the Bowers Group special applications team include solutions for the measurement of grooves, threads, splines and sphericals which are fully compatible with Bowers’ XT range of digital bore gauges and include optional Bluetooth.

The company will also be hosting an on-stand party on Tuesday 24th April from 17:00 – 19:00, where visitors can meet informally with staff.
