With Coronavirus affecting so much of the manufacturing industry in 2020 – many have understandably had to tighten the purse strings in terms of investment.

However, with three vaccines in various stages of rollout, about to be rolled out in the next few weeks, a ray of light is now clearly visible at the end of the seemingly never-ending COVID-19 tunnel.

Coinciding with this positive news, Sheffield-based CNC machine tool distributor Ward Hi-Tech has launched its ‘Buy Now Pay Autumn 2021’ scheme – allowing users to secure a new machine tool, have it delivered within a fortnight to any premises across the UK and Republic of Ireland, but not start paying for it until October 2021.

Ward Hi-Tech managing director, Alan Hill said: “We understand what a tough year this has been for everyone in the machine tool and manufacturing industry as a whole, but we are confident that, alongside the great news about the arrival of vaccines from Germany, the UK and the United States – this new purchasing opportunity may be the stimulus to give our customers confidence to invest in a new machine before Christmas 2020 and take advantage of a long-term payment holiday until next Autumn, when we all hope the COVID nightmare will be over and the economy begins to improve again.”

He continued: “Our ‘Buy Now Pay October 2021’ funding package has the added incentive of the first year’s interest charges being waived, effectively a huge double whammy opportunity for our customers to invest with confidence and at an unrepeatably low overall cost.”

Ward Hi-Tech business manager, Paul Eaton, commented: “As a company we believe we have the most flexible finance packages anywhere in the UK, offering extended payment terms seen in no other businesses and tailoring our packages to suit everyone. As soon as the customer gets in touch we get to work to ensure a quick, smooth transaction to get the machine on site and up and running to start earning money as soon as possible.”

Ward Hi-Tech holds a large and varied stock of over 40 CNC lathes and machining centres in its Sheffield showrooms, including lathes with chuck sizes from 8” up to 32” and vertical machining centres with X-axes from 720mm up to 2,600mm.
