Chem Arrow Europe has been awarded a certificate of recognition for supply and services to Penlon for its contribution in the VentilatorChallengeUK initiative.

Penlon was involved in the challenge after securing approval from the Government for a new ventilator design based on existing technologies, helping to create the ESO2 system.

Chem Arrow Europe offers a full range of metalworking fluids, remote service, bacterial sampling and waste collections and has maintained no disruption to supply or service during COVID-19 restrictions. All products and services supplied have been essential to the efficient running of Penlon’s machine shop and have contributed to the production of components required for the project.

“It was an honour to be part of the challenge to ensure the NHS had access to the number of ventilators it needed during these difficult times – and we’re pleased to have also contributed to ongoing stock levels should ventilators be required in the UK in the future,” affirmed Paul Stockford, Penlon’s facilities manager.

“Our longstanding relationship with Chem Arrow was key during this time; their full line of UK manufactured products and services ensured smooth running operations.”

Nick Stoodley, Chem Arrow Europe’s managing director added: “Chem Arrow Europe are proud to have supported Penlon throughout the Ventilator Challenge. “The relationship between the two companies reaches back to 2003, and so we’re delighted to have been acknowledged for our high quality products and services.”
