Drive systems specialist GKN Automotive has reached a significant milestone with more than two million electrified vehicles using its eDrive technology on the road globally.
GKN Automotive has announced its new Advanced Research Centre, created to develop next-generation eDrive systems powering future electrified vehicles and increase engineering capability in the UK.
GKN Aerospace has broken ground on a 10,000m2 UK Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Bristol and has secured 25 collaboration partners for the new centre.
The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Greg Clark, and the chief executive of GKN Aerospace, Hans Büthker have revealed plans for GKN Aerospace’s new Global Technology Centre in the UK.
