Thanks to Creaform’s MetraSCAN 3D scanners, HandySCAN 3D scanners, and HandyPROBE portable coordinate measuring machine, Koenigsegg was able to scan on its automotive parts’ dark and highly reflective surfaces, and virtually eliminate noise during its product development and quality control analyses. With over 300 hand-formed carbon parts in every Koenigsegg car, Creaform’s inspection solutions provided the accuracy and reliability required by the engineering team, even under rugged shopfloor conditions, to inspect production parts and adjust jigs.
