Valencia, Spain-based TCI Cutting – a specialist provider of laser, waterjet industrial cutting solutions and scalable automation technology, has installed a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">12m long Speedline laser fibre cutting machine for its customer Guillén Desarrollos Industriales – a leading manufacturer of semi-trailers with a portfolio of global clients.
This 12m long Speedline laser fibre cutting machine is a customised solution designed for processing large scale workpieces such as those used in the semi-trailers manufactured by Guillén Desarrollos Industriales.
The machine has a 6kW laser, a maximum acceleration of 19.6m/s² (2G) and a speed of 170m/minute, making it one of the fastest large format machines on the market. With automatic table change and sheet metal measurement via artificial vision, the cutting machine is fully inclusive.
The Speedline laser fibre series allows the incorporation of two heads with dual fibre laser sources and automation of the production process using a TCI bridge loading system 3.0 as an intelligent loading solution, as well as a large-format bevel cut using the 2D1/2 TCI cutting head.
