Dawson Shanahan is returning to Southern Manufacturing this year to showcase its precision engineering services.

The Welshpool-based specialist’s stand will be of interest to visitors wishing to benefit from reliable and sustainable component manufacturing that offers a high degree of flexibility.

Experts from Dawson Shanahan will be on hand to provide guidance on how to ensure components are consistently manufactured to the highest quality, with fast turnaround times and with superior mechanical strength. They’ll also be available to discuss how Dawson Shanahan’s full range of design, prototyping and manufacturing services can meet almost any requirement for custom engineered components.

Visitors to the show will also have the opportunity to learn about a high precision process known as cold forming. This process produces 80% less waste that many other metal machining techniques, and therefore significantly reduces materials costs while ensuring high quality of product. It also eliminates many secondary processes to reduce costs further.

Jeff Kiernan, commercial director at Dawson Shanahan, said: “After a highly successful show last year, we’re excited to be returning to Southern Manufacturing and showing off our range of cold forming and CNC machining services. Cold forming offers so many great opportunities to sectors such as automotive, medical and aerospace, and we’re looking forward to explaining how.”

This year’s Southern Manufacturing takes place on 21-23 March 2017 in Farnborough, Hampshire. Visitors to the show will find Dawson Shanahan at Stand D68.
