Developing a worldwide presence

Deeply rooted in the long tradition of quality British engineering, Delapena has announced a number of technical innovations, new developments and new products for 2010.

“It's a very exciting time for Delapena” explains managing director, David Arthur. “Everyone is highly enthusiastic about the latest technical innovations being incorporated into our established range of honing machines, the E1000S and E2000S, which feature parallel spindle functionality.” He continues: “Further development and refinement of the electronic control systems deliver even greater levels of accuracy and automation to the engineering industry. These machines, along with the Powerhone, with its 1m stroke and ability to hone a 500mm diameter, form the core of the Delapena range. We are particularly excited at the moment about the launch of our new small bore, long stroke honing machine, which will have a range of applications, including rifle barrel and gun manufacturing. We will be featuring it on our stand at MACH 2010.” Along with a buoyant R&D department, Delapena has a strong team, ready to take on new challenges. “With our extensive range of vertical and horizontal honing machines, abrasives and honing service, along with our new developments, we continue to have a growing presence on the world engineering stage and we are well placed to continue pursuing our quest for dominance in the honing marketplace,” Mr Arthur concludes.
