We try to create an environment that is welcoming and friendly – one where no question is a stupid question. That approach has worked well. Ultimately, we want to build a team that can support each other and the business.” So, what has been the value of being a BTMA member for the business according to Mr Naismith? “It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people who are facing the same sorts of issues and learn how they are dealing with them. The topics discussed can be very relevant and informative and I can return to our companies and engage with my colleagues about how we strengthen our business.
