DK Holdings branches out into precision subcontracting

The DK Holdings’ name is synonymous with the provision of high-quality diamond tooling to a global marketplace.

Drawing on its 60+ years of manufacturing experience, the Kent-based business is expanding its production capabilities to offer precision subcontract component manufacturing to its steadily growing global customer base.

“DK Holdings is renowned for the design, manufacture and supply of off-the-shelf and bespoke diamond tooling solutions for a variety of applications and industries including aerospace, automotive and defence as well as the emerging renewable energy sector globally,” explains sales and marketing manager John Emptage. “Supplying tooling solutions within these everchanging industries means we invest continuously to evolve alongside them, in both technology and our people.

ISO 9001 approved DK Holdings’ production facilities now span 4,000m² and its plant list comprises manual, semi-automatic and CNC lathes, milling and grinding machines with the latest additions being multi-axis machining and twin spindle turning variants.

“Our machining capabilities and team of skilled engineers enables us to produce precision engineered components in a variety of materials such as aluminium, steel or tungsten carbide,” Mr Emptage adds. “While cutting edge machinery is vital, we know that our success is also down to the dedication, experience, and expertise of our production staff.

“Our continuous investment in both personnel and machinery has enabled us to now expand our portfolio by offering the design, manufacture and supply of precision engineered components and a subcontract manufacturing service.
