Faro at Control 2018: on the path to autonomous production

3D measurement specialist Faro, will be presenting solutions that go far beyond conventional measuring functions at the Control 2018 exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany.

In hall 3 on stand 3404, Faro will demonstrate how to record and analyse data in a production process and how this can be used to instigate improvements. This efficient use of data is intended to help small and medium and larger companies prepare for Industry 4.0. Faro is a strong partner when it comes to creating automated production and more efficient work processes; it combines smart measuring solutions with comprehensive software tools that allow collected data to be used in a wide variety of ways.

For example, the Visual Inspect product family enables, via the intuitive mobile display, examination and documentation of comprehensive 3D data to be superimposed onto survey data, so that it can be compared in real-time.

Faro will be presenting additional solutions at the trade fair booth such as the Faro Big Data Cloud, which can provide valuable support on the path to autonomous production. In a series of daily talks, the topics of digitisation, added value potential and innovative case studies will be presented and discussed with the experts from the Faro lab.
