In the 2011/2012 fiscal year, concluded at the end of June, the Trumpf Group generated sales of €2.325 billion. Compared to the previous year's sales of €2.024 billion, this equates to an increase of 15%.

"Last year Trumpf achieved the highest sales in its history, beating its pre-recession record from fiscal 2007/08,” announced company president Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller.

Trumpf also enjoyed an increase in orders received during 2011/12. At €2.35 billion, they lay above the previous year's figure of €2.22 billion. Profits rose also. “We are expecting a result higher than that of the previous year,” Ms Leibinger-Kammüller added. “In 2010/11, Trumpf achieved a pre-tax result of €185 million Euros.”

Over the past fiscal year, the company also created more than 1,000 new jobs taking the total headcount to over 9,600.
