Designed to enhance the efficiency of machine tools, the Rich Mill Series cutters come in two different styles, the Rich Mill RM4 90° milling cutter and the Rich Mill RM8 45° face mill. The RM4 is an economical multi-functional milling tool incorporating an innovative double sided insert with four cutting edges. The extra thick negative inserts offer durability strength and edge security even under extreme cutting conditions.

Specially designed for facing, shouldering, slotting, ramping and helical cutting, optimal machining can be achieved with a special cutting edge applied to the insert's geometry allowing the cutter to run on low horsepower machines if required.

All the cutter bodies have curved clearance pockets for efficient swarf evacuation and through coolant holes as standard, which inject coolant direct to the tools cutting edge, aiding swarf removal and decreasing heat generated during the cutting process.

Inserts can be supplied in a wide selection of carbide grades to suit most materials – PC3525 and PC3545 for steel; PC9530 for stainless; PC6510 for cast iron; H01 for aluminium and PC3500 which is a universal grade.
Inserts come in two sizes – the LNMX10 and LNMX15 and cutter sizes range from 14mm diameter to 160mm diameter.

Like the RM4, the RM8 is designed for fast material removal and can also be used on low horsepower machines. Specially designed for facing and chamfering with the added benefit of eight cutting edges, the extra thick insert gives edge security under extreme working conditions. The geometry and high rake angle of the cutting edge is said to give machined components an excellent surface finish. The light cutter body can be used for high speed machining on aluminium and also performs well on steels, stainless and cast iron.

Cutter bodies also have curved clearance pockets for good swarf evacuation and through coolant capability. Cutter sizes range from 50mm to 160mm diameter.

The Rich Mill series of cutters are stocked at Cutwel's national distribution centre in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire which is staffed by experienced sales staff and time served engineers. The warehouse stocks over 15,000 product lines all for next day delivery.
