Gewefa on the road in support of autumn open houses

Corsham-based toolholding specialist Gewefa UK has been supporting a number of leading machine tool manufacturers during this busy autumn season of open houses and has announced a further two events before the year end.

In close collaboration with its driven tool specialist partner EWS, Gewefa will be have a strong presence at the forthcoming Romi Machines UK ‘Blue Circle’ event being held in Rugby from 13-14 November.

It is planned that EWS driven tools will feature on a Romi CNC lathe and visitors will also be able to view and discuss the newly introduced EWS intelligent tool monitoring technique called CyberCon4. This monitors a range of processes within the tool in order to optimise its performance.

In December, Gewefa will have a significant presence at the two-day Hurco open house being held at its impressive new demonstration and showroom facility in High Wycombe.

Scheduled for 3-4 December, Gewefa will be exhibiting in the Suppliers Village at the open house and this year will be highlighting – among other products – its expertise as a supplier of face and taper toolholding products. Gewefa’s range of standard toolholders in this format has been extended by over 50% following the introduction of many new extended length tools.

With its longstanding relationship with Hurco in the UK, Gewefa is the primary supplier of tooling packages supplied on new Hurco machine tools and a number of demonstrations at the event will prominently feature Gewefa spindle nose tooling in various formats.

As well as EWS, Gewefa also supplies related toolholding products such as OTT spindle monitoring equipment, Pibomulti angle heads and speeders, Nann collets and Rineck heat shrink clamping machines.
