Due to continued growth, Cambridgeshire-based company Cambridge Numerical Control (CNC), has started searching for two new employees to join its team.

Managing director Tim Collett said: “We have had a phenomenal last couple of years and also a successful MACH 2018. Off the back of that, the enquiries and new project work coming into the business means we really need another two people to join us and help not only deliver on our existing commitments, but also help take the company forward.”

CNC is looking to recruit an installation engineer alongside a new member to join its management team.

Mr Collet added: “We’re still formulating the exact job description for the management role but applicants for the installation engineer position must have computer networking and set-up experience alongside SQL, CNC control and DNC software installation knowledge. Preferably we’re looking for someone with electrical wiring and machine monitoring experience. Of course, excellent customer relation and organisational skills are prerequisites.

“In return we’ll provide any necessary training and support alongside a generous salary package. The work will take the successful candidate across the UK and potentially overseas so I’d ask interested parties to consider that before they contact us for more information.”

CNC works primarily with manufacturers in the aerospace, automotive and motorsport, and medical and scientific instrument fields: “It’s a very exciting time here at CNC; we’re growing, we’re supporting more and more manufacturers, and our reputation for innovative software solutions that make a measurable, positive difference to our clients is spreading,” he concluded.
