The new instruments are a combination of multiple technologies including several patents. The Quickcenter feature for example is reported to significantly reduce the time taken to measure bore/shaft culmination points such as diameters and a touchscreen/keyboard hybrid panel with 2° of freedom ensures convenient and ergonomic operation.
There are three manually operated models in the range and three motorised (+M) versions, capable of measuring components up to 350mm, 600mm and 900mm respectively. The motorised versions are characterised by their intelligent handwheel for displacement (patented Feel&Move technology) that combines fast probe positioning with fluid execution of measurement.
All models feature a rigid cast iron base and frame with power courtesy of an easy access rechargeable battery. For convenience, data can be saved to USB stick or the units can be connected to a computer via the TLC connector (Tesa Lync Connector). Two additional software programs can be used – Tesa Stat-Express for statistical data management and Tesa Data-Direct for data formatting.
“We believe that Tesa Micro-Hite height gauges represent the most productive and innovative products in their class,” states Tesa’s sales and marketing director, Blaise Vuille.
