A new generation of anti-fatigue mats to improve safety in the workplace, that are easy to handle and can be cut to size are now available in the UK from distributor First Mats. The company says the PinnacleMat represents a step forward in industrial health and safety at an affordable price.

PinnacleMat is a new innovation in anti-fatigue matting, which has been designed specifically for underfoot safety and comfort in locations prone to oil, water or chemical spillage, but can also be used in dry environments. The first of its type and a finalist in Tomorrow’s Health and Safety Awards, it is a high density foam anti-fatigue mat with a unique flame-retardant outer layer. This outer layer is manufactured from a ground-breaking PolyNit material which totally encapsulates and seals the soft foam inner. It is this outer ‘skin’ that provides the ultimate protective barrier, with tapered, heat-sealed edges.

While being very comfortable to stand on to relieve the onset of fatigue from prolonged standing, PinnacleMat effectively reduces the risk of slipping on wet/oily floor surfaces. The top surface has a raised diamond pattern for additional underfoot grip and is also resilient to piercing and tearing in the event of contact with sharp debris.

Unlike rubber mats, which have a tendency to be heavy and more difficult to handle, PinnacleMat is available in user-friendly rolls or in specified cut lengths for ease of cleaning and general handling.

  • Available cut to size

  • High-Density Foam Centre

  • Flame retardant outer layer

  • Resistant to Oil, Water and Chemical Spillages

  • Excellent wear resistance properties

  • Raised Diamond pattern for Slip Hazard Reduction

The PinnacleMat is available to buy at just £0.45 per cm from First Mats, making this anti-fatigue mat a cost effective addition to your workplace.
