Technifor hits the road

Supplier of component marking systems, Technifor, is taking to the road visiting companies across the UK. From 12-30 April 2010, the company's demonstration vehicle will be promoting its range of marking and engraving solutions at customers' premises.

Following the success of the demonstration vehicle's visit to the UK last year dates have been made available for its return. The vehicle will bring examples of the latest scribe, micro-percussion and laser marking technology offered by Technifor to the doorstep of many of its customers, as well as companies interested in direct parts marking for traceability and component quality control.

“Although we have a full range of marking solutions set up at our showroom and demonstration facility in Leamington Spa, which everybody is welcome to visit, we appreciate that it is often difficult for engineers and production managers to get time away from the factory floor,” explains Peter McCullough, Technifor's UK sales and marketing manager. “The demonstration vehicle enables us to showcase our products at the customer's convenience.”

Technifor says its parts marking technology can improve quality control, ensure automatic component identification and provide permanent traceability for a modest investment. With over 35,000 machines installed worldwide, its marking solutions can be integrated into continuous production lines generating serial numbers, logos and data matrix codes and can be used as portable marking systems for optimum flexibility.

Companies can request a visit from the demonstration vehicle by contacting the company directly. Other information available on-board will include details of Technifor's Total Support service packages. Special offers are also being launched to coincide with the vehicle tour.
