Hoffmann Group opens first subsidiary in the US

The Hoffmann Group has officially opened its first subsidiary in the United States.

Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, the new subsidiary offers a combination of trading, manufacturing and service competence, with a strong focus on the machining industry as well as on workstations and storage.

Martin Reichenecker, the Hoffmann Group’s chief sales officer said: “In the United States, system partnership strategies are seldom seen in the tooling industry and this is why we see great market potential for our product portfolio and applications expertise.

“We have chosen Knoxville because it is close to a number of US manufacturers and is also where many German enterprises have their subsidiaries,” explained Charlie Slagle, president of Hoffmann Group USA. “Several of the companies based there already know the Hoffmann Group from other markets. From our new subsidiary we’ll be able to offer even better consultancy services and tooling solutions on an international scale.”

Hoffmann Group USA will initially focus efforts in the Eastern and Mid-western sectors of the country. “We want to support our customers and partners in the United States and we’re looking forward to creating employment and opportunities for the people of East Tennessee. Our aim is to make the US facility one of our leading subsidiaries in the world,” Mr Reichenecker added.

The Hoffmann Group is represented by its partners in more than 50 countries around the world. It offers local customer service with 10 subsidiaries and dealerships in Germany, 44 in Europe and a total of 69 worldwide.
