Hoffmann Group scoops three design awards

The hooks and holders of the Garant EasyFix modular system can easily be attached to Garant panels

This year, the Hoffmann Group is a three-time winner of the covetedGerman Design Award.

The Garant EasyFix modular arrangement system, the Garant torque wrench with digital display and the Garant electronic torque wrench with digital gauge all scooped top spot in the ‘Workshop and Tools’ category. All three products impressed the jury with their intelligently conceived, functional and aesthetically pleasing design. More than 4,000 participants with products and projects from 50 different countries took part in the competition in the areas of product and communication design.

The Garant EasyFix modular arrangement system can be adjusted to individual needs and its hooks and holders can be attached to Garant perforated panels, ladders and worktops quickly and without the need for any tools. All components have been precisely matched with one another to achieve maximum convenience and visual clarity when the parts are arranged. The German Design Award jury was particularly impressed by the technical implementation and high variability.

The cost-effective Garant 65 6650 mechanical torque wrench with digital display (below right) combines functionality with intuitive handling and modern design. The required torque is set manually with a setting wheel with the value shown digitally on the display.

The Garant 65 5550 electronic torque wrench with digital gauge represents a fusion of state-of-the-art engineering with contemporary design. It displays the current value both on the gauge and as a digital readout, and saves the last peak value until the next reset. It also warns users against exceeding the maximum value by means of an audible signal, thus ensuring added safety. Its ergonomic handle, reversible ratchet with ejector, single button operation and large display make is both powerful and user friendly.
