InspecVision presented with Queen’s Award

InspecVision has been presented a Queen’s Award for Enterprise by Lord Lieutenant of Antrim, David McCorkell.

The award recognises InspecVision for its excellence in international trade with overseas sales growth of 129% over the last three years.

InspecVision was one of five Northern Ireland firms and 205 organisations nationally to be honoured with the award. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK, with winners personally approved by the Queen.

The company develops and manufactures 2D and 3D measurement systems for inspection of manufactured components. Its core market is the sheetmetal industry with customers producing components for a wide range of applications including the automotive and aerospace sectors.

The company was established in 2005 by Dr Jan Antonis and his father Mike Antonis. Having identified a gap in the market for high speed, easy-to-use, lower cost inspection machines, they developed and launched the Planar, the measurement system for 2D parts. Today the product range is sold in over 30 countries and has expanded to include 3D inspection.

Managing director, Dr Antonis, commented: I am delighted and humbled that InspecVision has achieved this prestigious award. It’s not only a celebration of the dedication and achievements of our team and distribution partners over recent years but will also help open doors as we strive to continue growing our business in the years to come.”
