Jemtech enhances customer support in Scotland

Jemtech (UK) has appointed Craig Wieland to provide sales and product support for its products in Scotland.

In order to strengthen its presence in Scotland, Jemtech (UK) has appointed Craig Wieland to provide sales and product support for Blaser Swisslube metalworking fluids, WaterHog fluid evaporation systems, and Cleanmist mist extraction units.

Mr Wieland, who is based just outside of Glasgow, will be focused on developing Jemtech's market share – particularly for the Blaser range of metalworking fluids. In doing so he will be targeting all industry sectors in Scotland and applying his 22 years of experience in the cutting tool market and the wealth of knowledge and experience he has gained along the way.

“I have been aware of Jemtech and the Blaser products for many years,” he commented, “and I've heard good reports both on the quality of the product and technical support from Jemtech. Now, with health and safety being strictly enforced it is a golden opportunity to promote the excellent track record of Blaser products. And, when you combine the health and safety benefits with the performance of the products, I see a fantastic opportunity to significantly increase the current levels of sales in Scotland.”

Steve Coull, Jemtech (UK)'s managing director, added: “We have a long track record with customers in Scotland, but the opportunity to work with someone with Craig's local knowledge and in-depth experience of Scotland's manufacturing sector was too good to miss. In these early days, we are already seeing positive signs from the appointment with some major users of metalworking fluids showing considerable interest in what Blaser can deliver for them in terms of improved performance and productivity.”
