“Sales are going from strength to strength,” explained managing director, Peter Capp. March was the most successful month we have ever had since launching the company 20 years ago, and the value of sales in the first quarter of 2011 has already surpassed our total turnover for 2010, which itself was a successful year.”

Mr Capp puts this achievement down to two factors: firstly, the high quality and long term accuracy of Sodick EDM technology, due in large part to its use of linear motors, enabling Sodick to offer a 10 year accuracy warranty on all new machines; and secondly, Sodi-Tech's determination to retain its staff throughout the recession, which has meant the company has a fully skilled team already in place to help existing and new customers in the economic upturn.

“Taken together with the stream of new technology being developed by Sodick – the latest examples of which will be announced at EMO later this year – the prospects for 2011 look very promising for ourselves and our customers,” Mr Capp concluded.
