Suffolk-based Master Fluid Solutions has appointed a new technology manager following growth of its metalworking solutions business in Europe.


Mark Powell has been chosen for the role, who will work under the direction of Monte Dhatt, managing director – Europe.

Mr Powell holds a degree in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry and joins Master Fluid Solutions after various roles in the pharmaceutical, engineering and food ingredient industries.

Since 1990 Master Fluid Solutions’ European headquarters in Needham Market, Suffolk has developed metalworking fluids for the European market, as well as regional sales and technical support.

This operation remains the centre of excellence for product development and to provide capacity for this work, investment continues in its laboratory facilities. The operation also provides technical support for the company’s growing network of distributors throughout Europe.

Needham Market will therefore be Mr Powell’s base where he will manage the European laboratory and related technical functions.
