Since its debut in 2010, the MX-520, has sold in substantial numbers in every territory to a myriad of industries, machining a variety of materials.
Roger Howkins, managing director at Matsuura Machinery commented: “The demand for a Matsuura automation solution for the MX-520 PC4 has arisen directly from our customers and developed following their feedback. We’ve had a fantastic response globally from the MX-520 and the MX-520 PC4 is the perfect addition to our product portfolio.”
The latest Fanuc 31i (iHMI, 15-inch touch panel type) is installed and integrated with Matsuura's established original software, which ensures ease of use, status at a glance and excellent operability.
With consideration for the growing requirement for factory optimisation and remote monitoring, the MX-520 PC4 is ready. The highly capable 12,000rpm spindle (120Nm) is provided as standard and to cope with increasing requests from industry to machine hard-to-cut materials, a high-torque (187Nm) motor is available as an option – as is Matsuura’s 20,000rpm (108.7Nm) spindle for high-speed machining.
Matsuura will exhibit the MX-520 PC4 at EMO 2017 taking place from September 18-23 in Hannover, as well as CMTS 2017 (September 25-28) in Toronto, Canada.
