Matsuura expands service team to support growth in UK

Leicestershire-based Matsuura Machinery has announced the appointment of Michelle Storor to the role of service engineer.


Prior to joining Matsuura, Ms Storor was an aircraft engineer for the German Army for five years working on various helicopters including the CH- 53, NH-90, EC135 and BO125. She moved back to the UK in 2017 as an engineer for a sheetmetal company.

Commenting on her appointment Ms Storor said: “Although only joining the Matsuura team very recently, I’m constantly developing and broadening my skills, supported by an extremely knowledgeable team.

“Matsuura has a great reputation for quality, reliability and accuracy and these are just some of the reasons why the role appealed to me. I look forward to meeting our customers in the future.”

Reporting to Leigh Caddy, assistant service manager, Ms Storor will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of Matsuura, Niigata, Murata and Toshulin CNC machine tools throughout the UK.

Matsuura is experiencing rapid growth and expansion in the UK and is investing in its employees, facilities and support infrastructure to match current and projected UK growth.
