Matsuura Machinery has announced the dates for its open house event, which will be held at the company’s headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire during May.


Taking place on 14th, 15th, 22nd and 23rd May, the open house marks the official opening of its new showroom and a dedicated Additive Manufacturing Facility (AMF), following a substantial investment over recent months.

Katsutoshi Matsuura, president of Matsuura Machinery Corporation will officially open the showroom and AMF on 14th May.

Visitors to the open house will see a wide range of Matsuura’s advanced CNC machine tools on show, including the 5-axis powerhouses: MAM72-35V, MX-520 PC4, MX-330 PC10, MX-850, multi-pallet horizontal machine H.Plus-300 PC15, twin-pallet H.Plus-630, high-speed VMC VX-660 and Muratec MT200 lathe.

The AMF will be hosting live demonstrations on the HP 540 and HP 4200 Multi-Jet Fusion 3D printers alongside the DyeMansion finishing system for de-powdering, surfacing and colouring of 3D printed parts.

Commenting on the forthcoming open house, Roger Howkins, managing director of Matsuura Machinery UK commented: “We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to our new showroom facility, which has changed dramatically over recent months.
