Matsuura welcomes new apprentice intake

On Monday 30th July, Matsuura Machinery held a welcome evening for the four successful candidates and their families making up its next intake of Technical Apprenticeships.

Long serving members of staff from each department spent time to welcome the young recruits and their families and give them a good understanding of the company, products and customers.

Matsuura is experiencing rapid growth and expansion in the UK and is investing in its people, facilities and support infrastructure to match current and projected UK growth.

Roger Howkins, UK managing director said: “It is a pleasure to welcome these young engineers into our business and meet their families. They are the future of our company and vital to our wider economy and UK manufacturing community going forward.

“Each of our successful 2018 intake will receive a full Technical Apprenticeship and work in every department of our operation over their term, achieving the standard of excellence our customers demand from our highly valued engineering team. These are exciting times for Matsuura and investing in our team of the future is essential.”
