Nasmyth appoints new VP business development

Nasmyth has announced the appointment of Gary Sinfield as vice-president business development.

Mr Sinfield has spent considerable time in business development roles in the aerospace and defence industry sectors. He previously worked for Gardner Aerospace and TT Electronics managing global business development and key account management.

Mr Sinfield commented on his new role: “I am looking forward to working with the Nasmyth team on their new business growth plans across the aerospace, defence and space sectors.”

Tony Upton, chief executive officer, added: “Having Gary on board is a further signal of our intent to accelerate Nasmyth back to and beyond its previous achievements. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Gary every success in his new role.”

Nasmyth continues to grow its precision engineering and metal treatment capabilities, in support of both OE production and aftermarket operations, across its nine sites.
