During the lockdown earlier this year, Bystronic UK used the time wisely and invested in its Coventry facility to offer an even wider range of equipment to its customers.

The company recently held a three day event to showcase its new Experience Centre in all its glory.

From the small and compact Xpert40 pressbrake to fully automated load/unload, storage and laser cutting solutions, Bystronic successfully combined practical demonstrations with informative presentations to bring visitors the full experience of the technology on offer and its capabilities.

The main focus of the event was the UK unveiling of the new ByTube 130 tube cutting laser. The wide processing spectrum offers users the flexibility required to process a diverse range of tasks. It has the potential to substitute complex and cost-intensive processing steps – a growing number of manufacturing companies are discovering laser cutting as an alternative to the two separate processes of sawing and drilling.

The fibre laser performs both processes simultaneously – and considerably faster – and thanks to clean cutting edges, deburring is also a thing of the past. This not only means reduced labour costs; the higher throughput speeds also results in a lower cost per part.

For customers who were unable to attend the event, Bystronic’s Experience Centre is available for demonstrations either onsite or virtually.
