The specialist engraver, reputedly one of the most progressive operators in the precision engraving and processing of metal and plastic components, has quadrupled its laser engraving capacity with the installation of two new laser engraving machines at its production facility near Bristol.
In addition, a dedicated 1.5kw fibre laser profiling machine which is able to cut metals such as stainless steel up to 3mm thick, will allow Brunel to cut profiles, shaped labels and control panels from pre-etched and engraved sheets.
Brunel has further invested in another rotary engraving machine to expand its production in rotary engraving work. This brings the company’s total rotary machines to seven, the largest of which has a maximum bed capacity of 610mm x 1,220mm.
The latest laser cutting and profiling equipment together with Brunel’s laser and rotary engraving, chemical etching and digital print operations, will enable the company to offer the aerospace and aviation industries a faster response time, improved quality control and more competitive pricing.
“We have invested in additional high-tech engraving equipment and extended our production capability to allow our industrial customers to take advantage of a complete one stop service,” said Martyn Wright, managing director and founder of Brunel Engraving.
“We engrave and manufacture to high precision standards to a wide spectrum of industries, providing bespoke services at cost effective prices.
