Payment plan for compact machines

Yamazaki Mazak has launched a monthly payment plan option for machine users interested in its QT-Compact entry-level series of machines.

The new 60-month finance plan, which is being provided in association with Mazak’s dedicated finance partner, will enable the acquisition of a brand-new Mazak machine but with low, manageable monthly payments and an initial deposit (the offer is based on meeting certain criteria and is subject to status). This initial offer will run to the end of August 2017.

Alan Mucklow, managing director UK and Ireland, sales division at Mazak, comments: “We are committed to offering the benefits of Mazak ownership to as wide a spectrum of UK machine users as possible. This sort of monthly finance plan is perfectly suited to our entry-level machines, such as the QT-Compact series, that offer a short lead-time turnkey solution that can start paying back immediately following installation.”

The QT-Compact series of machines comes with a three-year warranty that can be extended to four or five years, and includes accidental operator damage, installation and full training. The monthly finance plan also enables the first instalment to be paid 90 days after delivery.

The machine is equipped with a high rigidity integral spindle and conversational EIA/ISO programming capability in the form of its SmoothC technology. Milling variants are equipped with 5.5kW driven tooling. Machines available in the offer include an eight inch through hole chuck, swarf conveyor, bar feed interface, auto parts catcher, signal tower, tool eye and 5 bar coolant.

Mr Mucklow believes that the new monthly payments option will enable many more machine users to consider upgrading their capabilities to include a new Mazak machine: “Machine users will be getting a brand-new Mazak machine built to our global manufacturing standards, but with a flexible payment option that makes it easier than ever before to integrate Mazaks into their machining operations.”
