Made in the Midlands (MIM) is a Midlands manufacturing and engineering peer to peer membership association for directors of £1 million plus turnover firms and is currently the largest industry support group in the region.

MIM’s membership tally stands at more than 380 companies with a combined turnover of over £4 billion, comprising businesses from all tiers of the automotive, aerospace, marine, defence, medical and other advanced manufacturing supply chains. The association exists to unite Midlands industry – bringing together companies at decision maker level to source, supply, collaborate and share best practice and provide a platform for member firms to promote themselves to an engaged audience. MIM also represents the region in a political capacity, lobbying on behalf of its members at governmental level.

Made in the Midlands CEO, Jason Pitt said: “We are delighted to have entered this new partnership with PES. I’m certain that our members will have either read or been featured in the magazine or on its online platforms. It is fantastic that PES will now be supporting us with coverage of our biggest events as we continue to grow.”

Dave Tudor, PES’ editorial director added: “Made in the Midlands is a well-run, ambitious association that represents Midlands manufacturing businesses at all levels of the supply chain, working hard for its members through regular networking events.

“Geographically, the Midlands is a hotbed of innovation, manufacturing heritage and engineering excellence and I’m sure that as an association, Made in the Midlands will continue to thrive and prosper. We’re delighted to be entering into a media partnership that will promote its events to a wider audience.”
