Build quality is at the heart of Pinnacle’s flagship 5-axis series

Renowned for its high-end machine tools, Pinnacle’s 5-axis range provides versatility and high precision machining.

The Pinnacle BX range is the flagship in the series. A built-in swivelling milling head allows the user to simplify set-up and production of complex multi-sided parts due to the flexibility of the head and rotary table working simultaneously together.

A differentiating factor with Pinnacle machines is the centrally located embedded rotary table which is an option on all 5-axis models in the range, powered by a high torque direct drive servo motor for high efficiency during machining cycles, and allows the machine to accommodate large and heavy workpieces. This embedded C-axis is available on the Pinnacle BX500, BX700 and the BX900 from the BX range, or alternatively, a standard table is available.

Pinnacle machines are manufactured from high quality components which promote accuracy, precision and reliability. The BX700 comes in five versions: BX700A, BX700AA, BX700, BX700DD and BX700T.

The BX700DD has a high accuracy direct drive spindle head whereas the BX700T has a turning function of up to 1,200rpm utilising an HSK63T spindle. The range has just benefitted from the addition of the BX700AA which integrates twin rotary tables into this platform.
