Quality: transformation, improvement and resilience

The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) will stage the 'quality' event of the year at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in Central London on Wednesday 30 November 2011.

Efficient quality management ensures the effective design of processes that verify customer needs, plan product life cycle and design, and produce and deliver the product or service.

With this in mind, The conference aims to drive forward the quality agenda and highlight how it contributes to business success.

Topics include: balancing risk and innovation; the relationship between customer care and quality; helping businesses thrive through quality and maintaining innovation; making quality count and delivering the right customer experience; delivering business assurance through quality – building an ethical global brand; and continual improvement and transformation.

The event will be chaired by Daisy McAndrew, economics editor of ITV News and the high profile speaker line up will include: Andrew McMillan, former head of customer service, John Lewis; Jo Fairley, co-founder of Green & Blacks; Paul Sloane, consultant and author of ‘Destination Innovation'; David Straker, consultant, author and expert on quality and innovation; Sir Richard Needham, senior independent director, Dyson; and Peter Merrill, expert on innovation and strategy.
