Registration rewards

G Squared UK has been awarded registration to the latest revision of the ISO9001 quality standard.

Andover-based

The assessment process took place over a period of two days and involved a total assessment of all documents and processes.

Managing director Alec Grimsey said: “We are delighted to have achieved registration to ISO9001:2008. Although many of the processes and procedures were already in place, following a Gap Analysis by BSI and under the expert guidance of Stewart Rivers of QPS (Quality Personnel Services) we addressed any necessary areas and applied for assessment. We chose URS (United Registrar of Systems) as the registration body as they came highly recommended. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone seeking accreditation.”

He continued: “We have found that this has now opened more doors for us with many new customers coming on board who would previously not allow us to quote. It's an exciting time for us as we are now trading with defence industry organisations. The next step is to look at accreditation to the AS9100 aerospace standard.”
