Castle Precision, has announced that it has been recommended for accreditation to AS9100 Revision C following a successful audit at its Glasgow facility.

Castle's team of over 150 members of staff operate an advanced, fully computerised manufacturing facility and made the step change from Revision B at its first attempt – more than six months ahead of the global deadline of July 2012.

Managing director, Marcus Tiefenbrun, commented: “At Castle, we welcome anything that challenges the aerospace industry to reach a higher level and we are very proud to have achieved this objective, which could not have been undertaken without the ongoing commitment of our workforce.

“Attaining this accreditation is no mean feat,” he added, “however the real benefit of the accreditation is that it emphasises our commitment to providing ever higher levels of quality and delivery performance at globally competitive prices to our customers.”
