Save the date in April

Sheet metalworking machine supplier, Bystronic UK, will host an open house at its Coventry headquarters, showroom and technical centre from 7-11 April 2014.

The latest technology and innovations will be exhibited during the five days, including a 6kW CO2 high-speed laser profiling machine and a 4kW fibre laser. The latter machine range can now be fitted with options for real time monitoring and correction of the cutting process, and for automatic nozzle exchange to enable long periods of unattended running.

There will be a compact ByJet waterjet cutting machine on show, together with a range of high specification and affordable CNC pressbrakes. The manufacturer's latest Bysoft 7 software will be featured which has new functionality for streamlining parts removal and laser ID engraving.

Completing the exhibits will be a DD shear, plate storage, CNC plate rolls and a deburring machine for plate and sheet metal parts. All machines will be demonstrated under power.

Other suppliers co-exhibiting at the open house will be: laser gas supplier BOC; Deutsche Leasing to offer advice on finance, capital allowance taxation and regional growth fund grants; automated sheet metal storage, retrieval and handling systems manufacturer, Kasto; and Weber, which supplies equipment for polishing, deburring, deslagging, and oxide grinding and removal. Anyone interested in attending is requested to contact Caroline Wood by email at caroline.wood@bystronic.com or by telephone on 0844 848 5850.
