The dedicated support provides pre- and post-purchase advice for the full Starrett product range, onsite by telephone, email or through social media.

If the requirement is for bandsaw blades, free trial blades may be available. Often, a customer’s existing blade may be struggling to cope with the required application, or supplier prices may have risen. Starrett engineers can visit the user to set-up and run trials and check the general maintenance of the machine, including the guides and swarf brush.

Tests on the new Starrett blade can demonstrate the difference in performance, which is often cheaper, quicker and longer lasting than the previous blade. By enabling efficient and long lasting performance of the machine and blade, customers can save valuable time and money.

The Starrett team can also showcase its extensive power tool accessory range to customers across the country, either in their own facilities, at one of Starrett's demonstration centres, or the company can even provide bespoke video demonstrations of machines and tools in action. This service enables customers to see the latest equipment available, as well as the correct use and maintenance needs, before committing to an investment.

Starrett’s post-purchase support also offers training programmes for bandsaw machine operators, enabling compliance with industry legislation. The training programme covers machine set-up, installation and blade changing as well as best safe practice. The programme provides employees with the knowledge they need to work safely with the equipment, and gives employers peace of mind that their staff are working in accordance with industry regulations.
