Seco gives shopfloor tools the digital edge with retrofit tech

Seco customers can retrofit tools or any item on the shopfloor with Tool Identification, a tag-and-sticker system that connects tool libraries with dozens of suppliers.

The technology can improve shopfloor communications and speed up tool selection and setup time.

Tool Identification gives tools and equipment the digital edge with Industiral Internet of Things (IIoT) technology – digitising product data for improved accuracy and easy access anytime and anywhere.
