Software support appointment

Developer of production control software PSL Datatrack, has appointed Simon Fisher as support manager.

He joins the company during a significant period of growth and in this new role he will ensure existing customers receive the highest levels of technical support.

Mr Fisher has a strong background in the engineering industry, having previously worked in a customer-focused environment. He is already an experienced user of the PSL Datatrack software as well as other production control software. Based at the company's Bracknell headquarters, he will also manage new system installation, training and implementation to ensure that customers get a rapid return on their investment in the system.

PSL’s managing director Geoff Gartland commented: “Simon is a great appointment for us and our customers. His practical engineering experience, together with his thorough understanding of the PSL Datatrack system, means he will be able to respond quickly and comprehensively to requests for technical support.

“We, as a company, have always recognised the importance of customer service and at a time when we are growing quickly, it is important that we continue to provide the customer service that we have prided ourselves on for the last 28 years.”

Indeed since Mr Gartland became managing director in 2013, the company has seen the customer base increase by 24% and the head office team double in size.
