Speeds and feeds are a fundamental aspect of any machining process. In this video Haas Automation's Mark Terryberry simplifies the calculations.

Haas puts a lot of time and effort into its videos but the end results are excellent. They're educational, relaxed and informative without being commercial.

This video is all about calculating feeds and speeds - a subject that literally anyone involved in machining metals will come up against every day. There's a few mathematical formulae to circumnavigate but the fantastically named and highly engaging Mark Terryberry does a great job in simplifying the process.

It's just over 14 minutes long but well worth a look.
